Can I use movies in my website?

So, you have a new website, or maybe want to revamp an old one. Thinking of how good it would be if you could use a small movie but it just seems too hard or you think it will be too expensive. Instead with today's many web portals for accessing digital content and media such as Blogs, U-Tube, Google and Yahoo movies, we usually recommend using a third party to advertise your video clip rather than using it on your own website. Again, even though we can and do develop movies for people we recommend this because even though it is a fancy feature to have on your website the movie clip will slow down your webpage and in doing so damage the whole website download averages. Plus as an added bonus, external movie clips can attract more visitors to your website when advertised on a third party website.
